A logistics company plans to hire up to 200 people over the next three years to staff a new operations center in Charlotte. XPO Logistics is based in Michigan and arranges freight transportation for companies. At the announcement today, the company's Chief Operating Officer Sean Fernandez said the deciding factor in choosing North Carolina was the state's $3.2 million incentive package. Governor Bev Perdue noted the state is attractive to business for other reasons, too.
