If you’ve ever wanted to learn pickling, pressure canning, or preserving, now’s your chance to help design the workshops that appeal to you.
The Mecklenburg County Center of the NC Cooperative Extension wants to know:
· Do you prefer in-person or online workshops?
· Daytime or evening?
· Would you attend a day-long conference on a topic that interests you?
It’s part of the Sustainable Living Series that launched in 2014. It offers hands-on workshops and online classes that teach a growing range of topics that include food preservation, understanding food labeling, designing your garden, hydroponics, and more.
By completing a brief survey, you can help organizers develop the workshops and webinars that interest you. The survey closes November 10.
Many classes are free; others are offered at nominal fees. In-person classes are held at 1418 Armory Drive, Charlotte, NC 28204. For more information call 704 336 2082, or visit the Sustainable Living webpage and follow the link to get early notification of 2018 classes.
