Mecklenburg County computers suffer a ransomware attack.  Duke Energy is also hacked.  Charlotte's new mayor and city council members are sworn in. Mecklenburg County’s servers were hacked and files held for ransom this week. How did Dena Diorio and other county officials handle the attack? We bring you an update.

New mayor Vi Lyles and the City Council were sworn in this week, and we talked to many of them. We’ll discuss the new makeup of the council and what this group and our new mayor will mean for the city.

There was news this week about Duke Energy’s data breach, affecting about 370,000 customers in the Carolinas, with the potential for personal information exposure going back as far as 2008. We’ll have the details.
