What is the proper way to discipline a child? At the moment, it depends on whom you ask but a national conversation may soon settle this. The conversation has been started because National Football League star Adrian Peterson disciplined his son with a switch so hard it broke the skin. Some call that child abuse but others say spanking, paddling and switching are legitimate though more prominent in the south.
