Greenpeace's Kumi Naidoo
Greenpeace's Kumi Naidoo
It might be a surprise that the International head of Greenpeace, who meets with world leaders and writes about the environment to mass audiences, is also on the front lines of his movement, including being arrested after protesting in icy waters in the Arctic. But Kumi Naidoo has spent a lifetime doing hands-on activist work, not just for environmental causes, but for human rights and apartheid as well. He was recently in Charlotte to talk about energy policy and joined us to talk about why Charlotte is becoming a global priority for Greenpeace, and also about what he refers to as "climate apartheid."
This conversation has been pre-recorded.
