Metro Division patrol officers responded to a 911 call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon located at a residence in the 2400 block of Carmine Street. Upon arrival, officers located Mr. White in the front yard of the residence with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to CMC Main, where he was pronounced deceased from his injuries.
The initial investigation revealed that Mr. White was at his residence when he stepped outside. A short time later his family heard gunshots and found him lying outside in the yard.
