(1/24/06) If you prefer walking and biking to driving, you may want to attend one of the city-wide connectivity workshops taking place this week in Charlotte. The Charlotte Department of Transportation wants to make the Queen City more "pedestrian-friendly" and is looking for public input. The city is also seeking the advice of walking guru Mark Fenton, host of the PBS show America's Walking. In this extended web version, WFAE's Jaime Bedrin talked to Fenton about ways to make cities like Charlotte easier to navigate by foot.
