McBee SC Officials Indicted

McBee, South Carolina, at the intersection of Highways 1 and 151, lies along a shortcut to Myrtle Beach from the Charlotte area. McBee has long had a reputation as being a speed trap for motorists. But a South Carolina grand jury indicted two officials in the town, alleging that they have abused their authority when stopping speeders. WFAE's Craig Fahle spoke with Sammy Fretwell, a reporter with The State newspaper in Columbia, who has been following the story. He asked him if the speed traps themselves were the cause of the indictment.
