WFAE Rearranges Its Weekend Programming

Oct 30, 2017

Saturday, Nov. 4, WFAE moved Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!, the popular news quiz show, to Saturdays and Sundays at 10 a.m. After more than 20 years on WFAE, Car Talk is ending its production.

“We’re always looking for better ways to serve listeners’ needs,” said Ju-Don Marshall, WFAE’s Chief Content Officer. “With Car Talk’s absence, this is an opportunity to refresh the programming schedule in ways that we hope will fit listeners’ lifestyles and meet their news and entertainment needs.”

On Saturdays, Ask Me Another will also move up an hour to 11 a.m. The New Yorker Radio Hour moves from Sundays to Saturdays at noon. The BBC Newshour, a new show to WFAE, will air at 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. This American Life will move to 8 p.m. and Bullseye will air at 9 p.m., followed by Public Radio Remix at 10 p.m.

On Sundays, starting at 10 a.m. shows will air an hour earlier until 4 p.m. with the BBC Newshour. Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me! will air again at 6 p.m.
