(1/11/06) The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department recently launched a new task force to help curb street crimes. One reason for the new unit? Robberies were up more than 30-percent last year. To learn more about the task force, WFAE's Jaime Bedrin spoke with Deputy Chief K.D. Williams.
