Because of the large number of requests the station receives:

1. WFAE doesn’t notify organizations as to whether its submission has been accepted.
2. Submissions aren't immediately posted on our website calendar. It may take a day to a week for submissions to appear. Organizations may check here to see if the submission has been posted.
3. The calendar only lists events two months at a time.
4. Submissions won’t be used on-air.

WFAE reserves the right to not to post submissions based on, but not limited to the following criteria:

1. Submissions that contain spelling, grammar or punctuation errors.
2. Submissions that use inappropriate or inflammatory language.
3. Informational announcements (e.g. National XYZ Week or Month)  
4. Any event that is political in nature or promotes advocacy. 
5. Any event that isn’t open to the public. 
6. Any group’s weekly or monthly meeting except when a speaker of unusual local, regional or national prominence will be appearing. 
7. Events or religious services at a church, synagogue or mosque except for significant concerts or lectures. 
8. High school, college, church or other group reunions.
9. Any event that is sponsored by another radio station.
10. Events outside of WFAE’s coverage area.
