Soldiers dealing with pain

Julie Rose
Monday November 9, 2009
MULTIMEDIA

This week, we celebrate the service of America's veterans. Our soldiers today are surviving combat at much higher rates than ever before, thanks to developments in body armor and medical treatment in the field. But they're also coming home wounded in ways that - while not life-threatening - can often lead to a life of pain.

WFAE's Julie Rose speaks with veterans Darisse Smith and Derek McGinnis who are working with the American Pain Foundation to help returning soldiers deal with pain.
