Charlotte: On the way to becoming...? You tell us

Part 1: Ballantyne, Southpark and Myers Park

Monday August 24, 2009
MULTIMEDIA

Next Tuesday, September 1, WFAE will host a Public Conversation on Charlotte's future.  The event will also serve as a Charlotte Talks program.  We're calling "Charlotte: On the way to becoming...?"

In advance of this forum, we sent our reporters to different communities in the Charlotte area:  Rich, poor, middle-class; urban and suburban.  Throughout this week, we'll hear from residents of these areas who tell us what they think of Charlotte and what it's on the way to becoming.  We begin by talking to people in some of the most affluent areas of Charlotte:  Ballantyne, Southpark and Myers Park.

Tell us what your thoughts are on Charlotte's future in the comment section below.
