Bush Calls For $700 Billion Rescue Plan

The Bush administration is asking Congress to approve a $700 billion bailout in order to rescue some of the nation's financial institutions.

Plus, the Federal Reserve has allowed Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to become holding banks and take on commercial transactions.
