Food In The Body During our monthly food shows we talk about the types of foods we most like to eat, but this month we are going to explore what happens to that food once it enters our bodies. How is food broken down into nutrients, and compounds including vitamins, minerals, sugars and fat? We take a look at what food becomes once we eat it and how different foods affect our body in different ways. What compounds and minerals affect weight or metabolism? Which foods are higher in fat and what is the difference between things like saturated and unsaturated fat? We'll explore the chemistry of food.
