Bishop Peter Jugis of the Catholic Diocese of Charlotte has joined with other bishops from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia in calling for what they describe as comprehensive and fair reform of immigration law. They are asking for, among other things, an easier path to citizenship and a guest worker program. WFAE's Craig Fahle spoke with David Hains, communications directer of the Diocese of Charlotte. He asked why the bishops are working together on this issue.
