South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford says he will reimburse the state for a trade mission to Argentina last summer. The governor admits he was with his mistress while on the trip. Sanford said his affair started with a woman in Argentina about a year ago. That coincides with a state-sponsored trade mission to Brazil and Argentina last June. In a prepared statement, Sanford says the trip was "professional and appropriate." But, he adds: "I made a mistake while I was there in meeting with the woman who I was unfaithful to my wife with." Sanford says this raises legitimate concerns, so he is reimbursing the state for all travel, lodging and meals during the Argentina leg of the trip. The entire trade mission for Sanford cost more than $8,000. It's not clear how much the Argentina portion of the trip cost.
