Raquel Rivera

Raquel Rivera is a member of the WFAE community advisory board and has served in the Charlotte community for over 16 years. She specialized in working with children and families at the YMCA for over 14 of those years, with the last 6 years in the Parents as Teachers program in early childhood education. Continuing with her passion for education, Raquel works in Student Affairs at a local college and assists in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School system as well.

Additionally, she served on the ENLACE Charlotte Latin Council as board chair and other community boards in Charlotte. Through her work and experience, Raquel has always strived to provide a diverse perspective and continue to help those in need in the community.
