All about NASCAR and how Charlotte is prepping for the All Star Race. Guest host Erik Spanberg sits down with some racing experts to talk about where NASCAR is and where it’s headed.
NASCAR takes center stage in Charlotte this weekend. Voting begins next week for the next class to enter the NASCAR Hall of Fame and the Coca-Cola 600, the sport’s longest race, is coming up fast. All this comes at a time when stock car racing is in transition, facing lower TV ratings, and slumping attendance.
All hope is not lost though. The sport is working to address those issues and drum up new enthusiasm for car racing. We sit down with several NASCAR experts to talk about the future of stock car racing.
Guests:
Greg Walter, executive vice president, Charlotte Motor Speedway
Ricky Craven, NASCAR analyst, Fox Sports
Winston Kelley, executive director, NASCAR Hall of Fame
Steve Lauletta, president, Pigeon Sports Marketing
