Some groups are working to save animals who are on the endangered species list, even as helpful regulations are loosened. We explore those efforts nationally and hone in on North Carolina's declining red wolf population.
In North Carolina, the Red Wolf is in serious danger. At last report, there were only about 35 red wolves left in the wild, about 200 in breeding programs.
This comes at a time when the Trump Administration has unveiled proposals to strip the Endangered Species Actof some important provisions. We find out what’s being done here to help save the red wolf population and explore changes at the EPA.
