James Tabor and "The Jesus Discovery" For over 2 decades, Dr. James Tabor has used his work with ancient texts to aid his field work in archaeology. He's worked at several sites in the Middle East, including the site of the Dead Sea Scrolls and a 1st century Jewish burial ground. Most recently, with the aid of a special robotic camera, he explored a tomb in Jerusalem from around the time of Jesus. The discoveries they made in the tomb contain the earliest archaeological evidence of faith in Jesus' resurrection. We'll talk about the discovery of the tomb and what this information means. Guest Dr. James Tabor - Professor and Chair of the Department of Religious Studies at UNC Charlotte. He's the author of several books, including The Jesus Dynasty and his latest work, The Jesus Discovery. James Tabor's Blog Event | James Tabor will give a public talk and book signing at 7 pm tonight (March 6) at Barnes & Noble Bookstore, Carolina Place Mall. Details.
