Police found a man shot to death in a vehicle in southwest Charlotte Monday night. CMPD says officers were responding to a call of assault with a deadly weapon around 9:30 pm when they found the man on Orren Court. His identity has not been released.
Police have not reported any arrests in the case. It’s the 52nd homicide in Charlotte this year. There were 57 in all of last year.
