A teenager has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man in Concord last week, police said.
Omarrion Hudson was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Connecticut, Concord Police said Thursday. He was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Derron Jordan on Dec. 28.
Jordan was shot while waiting for a bus on Lincoln Street near the intersection of Malvern Drive in Concord. He was the cousin of 13-year-old Avenanna Propst, who was killed in a shooting outside Concord Mills Mall just a few hours after Jordan was shot.
Police have said the two shootings were not connected.
Dontae Laquavious Milton-Black was arrested and charged with murder in Propst’s death.
