Brenda Tindal, staff historian at the Levine Museum of the New South, Susan McCarter, associate professor in the School of Social Work at UNC Charlotte and James Ferguson, II, founding partner and president of Ferguson Chambers & Sumter Law Firm in Charlotte talk with Mike Collins about the history of race in Charlotte, going back as far as the late 1800’s.

Mike and the panelists talk about events that have shaped Charlotte’s racial trust from then up to now. We talk about some of the events throughout history, particularly in the last 20 years or so, that have created the environment we have today in Charlotte.
