Most congressional pundits had counted North Carolina's 8th District as a safe Republican seat in this year's elections. But recent developments are making Republicans nervous. New data put out by a Democratic polling firm show Democrat challenger Larry Kissel in a virtual dead heat with incumbent Republican Robin Hayes. The two met in Charlotte to tape a televised debate at WTVI. WFAE's Craig Fahle has this report.
