The city of Charlotte projects about 8,300 foreclosures in Mecklenburg County for 2008. That's a four and a half percent increase over last year. While most foreclosures are concentrated in "starter-home" neighborhoods, that's not entirely the case. WFAE's Simone Orendain checked on the housing market in Ballantyne, which is one area that's considered stable.
