Several years ago, we did a program on Moore Place, an apartment designed and built to house the homeless.  It was controversial at the time but a new report about Moore Place – which houses 85 of the city’s chronically homeless – shows that it has drastically reduced the amount of time tenants spend in the hospital which amounts to a major savings to taxpayers.  We revisit Moore Place and the problem of homelessness in Charlotte.
