The stories of children flooding our borders from South and Central America and from Mexico continue to dominate the news. Here in North Carolina, immigration officials feel the impact of the situation at the border. Hundreds of immigrants are resettled every year in our region and we are a destination for many of these families and workers. We’ll meet three experts on refugee matters and find how funding needs, legislation and a lack of public awareness is affecting our own immigration situation.
