A homeless man with a young son becomes a stockbroker and later, the head of his own successful brokerage firm. Sounds like the stuff of movies and it was: Will Smith's The Pursuit of Happiness. But that movie was based on a book by Chris Gardner and the story it told was his. You may see his story as one of rags-to-riches but he says it is a love story between a father and his son. Chris Gardner explains in a Thanksgiving edition of Charlotte Talks.
