Seeds at Renfrow Hardware
Tanner Latham

At the turn of the Twentieth Century, there were over 7 thousand seed varieties available to farmers and gardeners. Today, 94 percent of those seeds are gone - forever. Not only does that mean less variety but it also makes a food disaster like the Irish potato famine, exponentially more likely. We learn about seed savers, seed exchanges and seed bankers working to save the world's supply of seeds.
