Twenty-five years ago this week, the first President Bush signed the Americans with Disabilities Act which attempted to level the playing field and eliminate discrimination for those living with disabilities. The ADA has certainly had a positive impact in that direction but industry experts say there is still a lot left to do. We take stock of the disabilities act and its impact on people who live here and our accessibility quotient.
