This election year, there is an important Senate race in North Carolina. It pits the two-time Senator Richard Burr against former state legislator Deborah Ross. She’s a Democrat in a Republican state facing an incumbent, but the polls have them relatively close. The GOP calls her a liberal but she says she’ll bring better representation to congress for our state.
