CMS has had a problem with guns being brought on campus for years, but one was never used to kill a student until last Monday when one 16-year-old student at Butler High ended the life of another 16-year-old student.
The incident raised serious questions about the system’s security measures, which were just recently updated. Dr. Wilcox talks about what was learned, what might change and how to solve the intractable problem of guns in schools.
