There's a new local scholarship for gay, lesbian and bi-sexual students. Its creators are from Charlotte and they awarded two for the first time, at the end of this school year. WFAE's Simone Orendain spoke with one of the Griffin Scholarship's founders, Tim Griffin who says it's likely the only scholarship of its kind in North Carolina.
