Police are investigating the death of a man found in a home in northeast Charlotte Tuesday afternoon.
According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department statement, officers responded to a call for service at a home on Camrose Drive off The Plaza a little after 1 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Philip Patrick Young Jr., 29, lying in the doorway unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
