The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has made an arrest in the shooting death of a man on Clanton Road earlier this month.
Michael Lee Patrick has been arrested for the murder of Kareem McLeod. Patrick has been charged with second-degree murder.
Police responded to the 800 block of Clanton Road at 11:44 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, where they found McLeod in a parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Police were able to locate and apprehend Patrick Tuesday morning. He’s now in the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
