No Injuries After Train Derailment In Salisbury

A freight train derailed near downtown Salisbury Sunday afternoon. It's unclear what caused the derailment.

Norfolk Southern says three of the train’s seven locomotives derailed near West Innes Street, causing a minor fuel leak that has since been contained. Crews are expected to begin making repairs to the track Monday, according to Norfolk Southern.

No injuries have been reported.
