Drivers on the all-electronic Monroe Expressway who do not have an NC Quick Pass transponder will soon receive a bill in the mail. These will be the first bills for the road's travelers since it opened on November 27.
"We don't want our customers to pay any more than they have to, so please treat your NC Quick Pass invoice like any other bill you would receive in the mail," said Turnpike Authority Executive Director Beau Memory. "While the invoice may only be a few dollars, please pay it on time to avoid potential fees."
Drivers wanting to avoid mailed invoices can sign up for an NC Quick Pass transponder. Customers who use transponders fund a prepaid account.
