Fire At Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen Uptown Contained

The Charlotte Fire Department has contained a fire in the heart of uptown Monday afternoon.

The department says a fire at Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen near the Bank of America Center and Ritz Carlton grew to a third alarm.

Officials believe the fire started in the kitchen.

Workers from nearby offices were evacuated during the fire. North College Street between Fourth and Fifth streets was closed for an investigation.
