The politics surrounding the nomination, the hearings and the FBI investigation into Brett Kavanaugh has split the nation. Now that Kavanaugh has been confirmed, how will this divisive process impact the future of the high court? We talk about that.

The drama coming out of Washington is beginning to resemble that of a soap opera. The latest episodes centered around a nomination, hearings, allegations of sexual impropriety and drunkenness, possible perjury, an FBI investigation and a bunch of angry Senators both for and against the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to be a Supreme Court Justice.

All of this has solidified the sharp divides that have splintered the nation in recent years and court watchers worry this will further politicize the high court. What might this mean for an already divided country? We gather some local political minds to talk about that.
