Police have identified the man they found shot to death at an apartment complex in the University area Tuesday night.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says that officers found Kendric Washington, 22, in the common area of the Barrington Place Apartments off of W.T. Harris Boulevard while responding to a call of assault with a deadly weapon around 8:30 pm.
Washington was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.
It’s the 49th homicide in Charlotte this year.
