We'll meet an extraordinary group of students today on Charlotte Talks with Mike Collins. When we think of college students most of us picture young, energetic kids trying to balance an academic life with parties, dating and other campus activities. The students visiting us today are a little different from those imagined college students. They have served in Iraq or Afghanistan. The UNCC Veterans' Club is made up of students who discovered they had been a part of at least one of those conflicts and that they could share views and bring attention to veterans' affairs.
