Nominated for eight Academy Awards, including the the prizes for best picture and best director, Paul Thomas Anderson's film, There Will Be Blood, won Oscars for cinematography and best actor. The film, which stars Daniel Day-Lewis as an oil prospector in the earliest days of the industry, will be released on DVD on April 8.
Anderson's other films are the Oscar-nominated Boogie Nights and Magnolia, and Punch Drunk Love, starring Adam Sandler.
