Libraries-Connecting You to Coverage: November 1st-December 15: This year the Mooresville Public Library has become a designated center to assist individuals with their healthcare options thanks to a grant received from the Public Library Association. The program is called "Libraries- Connecting You to Coverage" which is a national partnership to assist consumers with enrollment in health insurance. Select staff and volunteers have been trained as CACs (Certified Application Counselors) to assist individuals with the Healthcare Marketplace during open enrollment. Patrons who have questions about the Marketplace (located at healthcare.gov) will be able to receive assistance by making an appointment with our counselors from November 1st until December 15th. We look forward to serving our local community with their healthcare enrollment needs during open enrollment thanks to this program. Appointments can be scheduled at widget.getcoveredamerica.org.
