Celebrate Charlotte's Role In Country Music History With WFAE

In conjunction with the release of Ken Burns' upcoming Country Music PBS documentary, Joni Deutsch, host of WFAE's award-winning Amplifier podcast, will be hosting several free events highlighting Charlotte music's role and influence in country music history.

Join us for free lunchtime performances at the Plaza at Spirit Square the week of Aug. 19. The concerts, in partnership with Blumenthal Performing Arts, will feature live performances from Charlotte area country artists:

Monday, August 19: David Childers
Tuesday, August 20: Caroline Keller Band
Wednesday, August 21: Ryan Trotti
Thursday, August 22: Featherpocket
Friday, August 23: Kelsey Ryan
