Top-ranked American skeleton racer Zach Lund has been cleared by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency to compete in the Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy.
He had tested positive for a banned substance that is often used to mask steroid use, but he said he used it to treat balding.

Note: Despite being cleared by the U.S. officials, the International Olympic Committee gives Lund a one-year ban for drugs on Feb. 10, the opening day of the games.
