FAA investigating Union County plane crash that injured two

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating what caused a small plane to crash in Union County on Sunday afternoon, injuring two people.

According to authorities, the single‑engine plane took off from Goose Creek Airport in Indian Trail around 2 p.m. Sunday before crashing in a nearby field.

No additional details were immediately available.
