Charlotte is one of the 12 urban areas that the organization serves. We'll talk with New Leaders CEO Jean Desravines to find out why the organization was formed and how students and schools around the country have benefited, including right here in the Queen City. He has now turned over that post to another New Leader, and now works to develop New Leaders as Director of School Leadership for Charlotte's New Leaders org Eric Guckian - Founding Executive Director for New Leaders in Charlotte, and also helped bring Teach for America to Charlotte.
