Our 100 Gardens family invites you to come out to one of our viewing party locations on July 17th to watch the Homegrown Tomato Festival, presented by Duke’s Mayonnaise and supporting the non-profit, 100 Gardens. We’ll have a complimentary mater sandwich and free goodies from Duke’s mayonnaise for our guests. The “movie style” show is 1-3:30pm. But, feel free to arrive early to any of the participating locations to snag delicious beverages, bites, and a good seat! Tickets are FREE, but please register at www.homegrowntomato.org Usually, the Homegrown Tomato Festival, supporting 100 Gardens is an in-person fundraising event featuring a tomato growing competition, cocktail competition, and vendor booths. However, due to planning constraints around Covid, the event had to go virtual this year. With that said, the virtual format has allowed the event to include presenters from across the USA, including restaurateur, Alice Waters and host of Growing a Greener World, Joe Lamp'l! Our watch parties are in Charlotte and Concord, NC. However, this event was designed to be virtual so people could watch at home from across NC and beyond.
