Event Description

“Graphic Medicine: Ill-Conceived and Well-Drawn” is a traveling exhibit from the History of Medicine Division of the National Library of Medicine. This display explores a field of literacy in which comics tell personal stories of illness and health. The language of words and pictures gives approachability and emotional impact to these personal stories, and even to the clinical data they sometimes include.
